Enjoy this Moment!

If you live your life moment to moment and stop worrying about the future and stop feeling sad or guilty about the past … you will be happy. It’s as easy as that.

Let’s face it, there’s no point in worrying about the future – making up scenarios as to “what might happen” – because it might NEVER happen and so you are just wasting your precious energy in this moment by worrying about something that will never be! Think about it!

 

And if you spend your time feeling sad about the past, or something that’s just happened, or spend your time feeling guilty about something you wish you had done differently – that’s also a complete waste of your precious energy and your precious time – because you can’t change the past! Forget it. Let it go, move on and enjoy this present moment!

You’ve probably heard the story about this moment being a gift because it’s the present?!

If you’re not having a particularly good time in any one “moment” – make a few plans so that you can do some things you enjoy doing so you can be happy. Write a list of things that make you happy – even simple little things around the home and when you’re on your own – and set a plan in place to do these things. Why aren’t you doing them now? Are you afraid of being happy? Don’t be!

 

Moment to moment – starting in this very moment, stop worrying and take notice – are you happy? Consciously stop your mind from worrying. Your happiness is in your hands. Others come into our lives and provide momentary happiness, but ultimately you need to find happiness in this moment, on your own, and you will always be able to find that happiness in the future. It is within you.
