You know the wonderful feeling you get when you forgive someone for something?
It's usually a loved one or a child that we kindly smile at and forgive for mistakenly hurting you. A kind smile spreads across your face and you look down at the child and say, “That's alright dear.” It gives you a warm feeling and this is a glimpse of your compassionate nature.
Spirit and our Higher Self always treat us in this way, with compassion and forgiveness. And not just for the things we perceive as “wrong”, but for everything.
If you forgive somebody for something that you previously would never have considered worth your forgiveness, it will give you a warm feeling. A compassionate feeling that comes from your heart. I can only recommend that you try practising forgiveness and see the effect it has on YOU.
